Subject: rear brakes IP: Logged
Message: hey i have a 2003 4.7 dak with rear disk brakes, since i never changed them only the front how do i get the rotor and caliper off since i will be changing both pads and the rotor. i couldnt see how to get it past the frame that the caliper bolts on to, and am i little confused as how to go about it .

Message: Remove the caliper. Two bolts on the inboard side.
Remove the rotor. Slides right off once the caliper is out of the way.
Don't let the caliper dangle by the hose. Tie it up.

Message: i know that much. but i cant get the caliper out, i dont see how to get it past the frame its bolted onto after i remove the bolts it only goes so far then its blocked by the two arms it boled on to.
