Message: i tried wetter water it didn't do anything. you can replace the thermostat with a 180 degree if you're worried about heat. i wouldn't use lucas but thats just me. you can use some seafoam to clean the engine up, you can use Rislone in the oil, you can switch to Synthetic oil or synthetic blend.

Message: I use water wetter in my truck and my street/track car. You won't see a change in the water temp unless it's a really brutal day, too many other facters involved there. But it will pull more heat out of the engine and get rid of it through the radiator. It's a surfactent, so it allows for easier heat transfer to and from the water. If you have a pinging problem on hot days, try it.

Message: Redline won't help get another 60k miles.
Nor will most additives.
GOOD maintenance is the key to long mileage.
But Redline might help the cooling system if is in top condition to begin with.
Switch all your fluids to synthetic.
Then you won't want or need any "additives"

Message: Hey man,
I've used the Lucas Fuel stuf forget the name. It seems to help overall. I didn't keep up with the mileage so I can't back it up.

Message: i have noticed that when I had the wetter water in the engine it always remained around 185-195 degrees. without it the temp tends to jump around alot more. so it makes a good stabilizer
