what would be the best plugs for the 4.7? i heard something about autolite 53 23's, but would i gap them to?

Autolite 3923.
Gap them to whatever is recommended for the engine they're going in. Not sure about the 4.7. Could be about .044 gap.
Also NGK ZFR6F-11G or one notch cooler is ZFR5F-11

Or, if you want a more heavy-duty plug, go with Champion Truck plugs which are, more or less, designed for the 4.7L. Champion is the OE plug for DaimlerChrysler vehicles. A lot of people have also had good luck with the Autolite 3923 plugs too.

Gap for 4.7 is .040
I used the Autolite 3923 nothing fancy stick with the cooper electrode.

Stock or equivalent.
If the plugs that come out look like they're running too hot, or your engine is prone to pinging, go for one step cooler plug.

its all a fact your choice i have a 04 dakota with the 4.7 with the airaid intake and throttle body spacer and i went with denso irdiums there not cheap but they run perfect the dyno run sed they gave me 8hp but i also changed my oil to mobil 1
