towed a 4500lbs plus. trailer, with a 2000 4*4 club cab 4.7 3.55 gears. [trans cooler, eq hitch] after market. temps ran around 215' degrees on the small hills and flats 235' on the 3% grades and got to 245' on the 5% grade. the 5% grades were a mile or less. when it got to 245' i turned on the heater, didn't run the ac. and drove with OD off. what else can i do?

Go to Redline water wetter web site and read what they have to say. (say that 5 times real fast)

first thing i'd do is check to make sure the cooling system is up to snuff. fresh coolant/flush, good radiator cap, fan clutch working properly, e-fan working properly, etc....
