A whistling noise recently developed, like a low whistle. It gets louder as you accelerate. Also, by just revving the engine, the sound doesn't come up. Could it be an exhaust leak? But if that was the case, wouldn't it whistle just by revving in park/neutral? Help please!

Message: Might not be engine related, since you don't hear it when motor is revved. Any recent body damage, something catching air now, that wasn't before ?
