this is a common build for LA 318's. the 360 head has bigger valves and meatier intake runners, but lowers compression when bolted onto a 318 due to a bigger cc combustion chamber. you must mill the heads to gain compression back.

On Magnums, that swap would yield nothing. The 5.9 Magnum has the same valve size as the LA 5.9. And while the 5.2 Magnum has ever-so-slightly larger valves than the 5.9's, the difference isn't worth the swap. If you want performance heads, go for at least a set of the aftermarket Magnum RT heads.
