what gas additive is the best for my 97 5.2 to clean the fuel
injectors? Considering this year of dakota never came with the
cleaning valve like other models of dakotas and rams. Any
information would be appreciated.

Unless you always use the same brand, most gas will keep the system clean.

Yup. Seafoam. If your preventing a problem use as directed. If you have a suspect problem double the recommended amount.

alot of people like fuel power to clean their fuel systems. I will try this in time. only down fall you have to order on line. not many distributers

The question, never asked, is why do you want to clean your injectors?
Are you old enough to remember the giant balloon attached to the car at the Chevron station?
Do you remember when gas companies didn't advertise their gas keeping your engine cleaner than the other guy's gas?
