Message: 99 5.2 4x4 auto I was just curious to see what PCM I have and the part number that I came up with is P56040, it has a sticker saying it was upgraded at a dealer. P5007098 is the mopar pcm (fed) and P5007100 is the low emissions (california). i want to upgrade to the mopar pcm but i want to know what i have first.

Message: The upgrade would likely just be new programming flashed into the original PCM by the dealer; look at the sticker on your hood to see if your truck is the federal or low emissions (cali) model.

Message: If the sticker doesn't say low emissions/california, then you have the federal model.

Message: I see. Well I guess I'm going to just buy a programmer. Which is better for my set up, hypertech or superchips? I'm all stock.
