 Subject: 2002 4.7 3rd gear

My 2002 4.7cc (5spd) only has about 2000 miles on it. Just about every time I shift into 3rd gear I get a clanking noise. Is this a bad thing? Does anyone elses do this?

Mine has 2300 miles on it and does not do that.

I've got 14,275 miles on my 2002 4.7l 5spd and it has not done that. Better get that looked at while you can.
