Message: How much can you spend on bolt-ons?
For a small sum of $4,000 and a day in the driveway, you can go ahead and bolt on a supercahrger!!
-throttle body
-upgraded injectors
-electric fan
Also look decreaseing or transfering weight. A few ideas for that would be:
- Smaller/lighter battery - relocated to the bed
- Roll pan
- A/C componants including the condenser

Message: Agreed. Go with a 52mm TB, and maybe a Trans-go shift kid to help with times. Also maybe an exhaust cutout after the y-pipe?

Message: While you are in the tranny, a higher stall converter can help. (I know the shift kit can be done without removing the tranny)
The big disadvantage here is that if you go too high, streetability will suffer. I am sure 2500 would help without loosing on the every day driving.
