hi guys, i have a 2002 dak qc 4.7 auto trans. this morning the truck was driving fine than bam, i went to go accelerate and the truck had no power, like it was stuck in 3rd gear, the OD light came on on the dash, and the truck was LOUD. i got it to my house and had it towed to the dealer. i was wondering if anybody has any idea what this could be, the fluid in clean, and full and doesnt smell at all, any help would be a great help

Unless you have a rare dealer, Your absolutely correct. Your trany is shot as shot can get.On the other hand should he be true blue honest. I doubt very much your trany went out at the snap of a finger.

thats a bummer, hopefully you still have a warrenty? i haven't heard of anyone have tranny problems with the 4.7.
