160,000 kms, number 5 injector acting up. Should a person pull the injectors, have them cleaned? Or just buy a rebuilt set?

Buy a whole set. Thats alot of miles. Cleaning 1 injector is a waste cause others are likely to follow. Buying a new set won't be much more than a good cleaning.
They are very easy to change yourself. The only "special" tool you need is the fuel line disconect tool.

I have a set of 8 19lbs injectors that came out of a 1997 dakota with the 318. They are used with only 20k miles. I am looking to get rid of them for only $85.00 without shipping. Let me know if you are interested. I already sold my 24's and 30's. I only have the 19's and the 36's left. Email me at bndit01@hotmail.com if you are interested. Tell you the truth I don't know how they were cleaned. It wasn't cheap, had I known then what I know now I would have just bought some FMS 19's as the motor needed them anyway. They gave me a flow report of what each one pumped but hell if I can find the sheet, it was 3 years ago. they were used for 2 summers, maybe 12-15K on them.
