Message: I think making a hole in bed to change pump is a great Idea. Next one well be very easy to do???????? Provided you make a nice bolt on cap over the hole.
So many problems. So little time

Message: I don't know why you didn't simply unbolt the bed (4 bolts?) disconnect the tail lights and remove one clamp off the filler neck and set the bet in the yard (takes 2 guys). You would have spent less time and would not have had to cut or patch anything. Mine was not new by any means when I installed the body lift and the only thing I didn't have to do was disconnect the tail lights. Everything else took an hour.

Message: Lets cut hoels in the hood for all the fluids! You could of siphoned
