Subject: oil pressure IP: Logged
Message: i have a little problem that im not sure about. well when i crank up my truck the oil pressure takes a few seconds to get up. For a split second the check gauges lamp lights up then the oil pressure gets to normal. it does this in the morning and when its sits for a few hrs.

Message: Buy some Auto RX. do search on google for it. Sounds like your motor could be dirty and running this stuff through it will only help it. Have you owned the truck its whole life? What is your mileage between oil changes? What kind od oil do you put in it?

Message: My truck does the same thing. I wasn't too worried about it but if someone knows if there is a problem it would be great to hear. Mine's a 99 with 186000km on it.

Message: well i am the only owner. i do oil chanhes about ever 3-4thousand miles. i put sythetic blends.
