Message:
I have just ordered a bunch of parts and was wondering if someone can give me a ballpark figure as to what horsepower I might have after installation.
I have a 1993 318 C.C. Auto LSD 4.10 gears -Flowtech headers with duals and crossover pipe. Msd 6al and Msd 8762 (timing retarder)

I am installing:
Hughes 2.02 iron heads with race valve job and narrow stem racing valves.
Hughes 1418 Cam .520/.544 lift 214/218 dur at .50 114*
Vortech supercharger w/ 9 lbs boost.
Ported intake manifold w/ runners ground back 1 1/2" and gasket matched.
Roller rockers.

No way for someone to know exactly, tuning and all. But you sure will know from the BUTT DYNO that's for sure.

Hopefully them heads are more open chamber to lower the compression and not closed ones like you would buy for added performance on a N/A motor since it would UP the compression.
Extra static compression + SC not a good thing...

Hughes says the heads are a direct replacement but Hughes doesnt say if its a direct replacement for 5.2 or 5.9. Hopefully 5.9. Like you said - I dont want more compession - maybe I'll call Hughes and ask.

I was hoping someone would tell me I'm in the 375 - 400 horse ballpark.

I am also looking into 24lb injectors and 53mm throttle body.

What makes the closed chamber a closed chamber?
