Message: hi i gotta question about a dakota. i want to put a carburated 360 in place of a 318 in a 1994 dakota. can you get aftermarket wiring harness that make it easier as far as getting rid of all the pcm and all that stuff.

Message: I have just helped my friend put a carburated 350 into his 1990 chevy truck. The only wires that we had to worry about from the old harness were the grounds, and the alternator wires. For the distributor we had to run a wire to a "key on" fuse. All of the other fuel injection wires were just bundled up and put aside. I would assume that putting a 360 in would be the same process. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
