Considering the stupid stuff I've gotten away with: the idiots probably owe me one. I pulled out in front of a lil' Pontiac and nearly got T-boned in Dalhart last year. Sorry to hear about your luck. Does my heart good everytime I hear about or see a Dak running down the road. Still have plans for mine, if I can scrape the $$$$ and expertise together.

ram 1500 95 2 wheel 5.2 auto just turned 244,000 and going strong same motor and trans. change oil and filter every 3,000 mile.

Well I had a 93 xcab 2 wheel drive that had 176,000 on it , original engine,changed oil every 5-10 k, (3.9), tranny that slid into second since i got it (ebay 5 1/2 yrs ago) exhaust,except cat which collapsed,still driven by body shop who kept the ghost flames and custom paint I did! Now I have an 01 quad cab I got 8 months ago (ebay)4.7, auto 4x4, loaded with 114,150,(as of today) Love the truck, hope it lasts as long as the 93!

I have a 98 dodge Dakota 3.9 v6 with 280,xxx original miles. Replaced water, oil pumps and breaks, etc, still runs strong
