I have a '98 CC 4x4 with 211,000 miles with all original motor and trans/transfercase. Only replaced tierods, u-joints!!! Starting to get oil in a couple cylinders and am changing some seals and gaskets and she'll be good to go!!!

I have a 95 Ram with 249,000 on it. Looks great and still runs very well. I just used it to tow my GTX to the mopar nationals. A 1600 round mile trip from Minneapolis to Columbus towing more than I probably should have.

ive dove my 92 dakota 583,000 miles. i bought it new to to drive for unger freight systems. i drive back and forth cross country everydays picking up and delivering packages. tranny was replaced and moter was rebuilt 270,000. and its still runnun strong

I have a 2004 3.7 manual
2015 miles
not a typo- I don't drive much, but my dad's shop used to service an '87 Dakota. Before we moved away, the truck had 277,000 miles on a 3.9L auto. Tranny had been rebuilt once, it had used a few water pumps too, but the timing chain was the origional. That's not a typo either!! :-)

I have a 2001 4x4 auto, that has just turned 277,297 miles. i have replaced the timing chain, and the fuel pump. i also replaced the starter 3 times. and then theres the average, oil,plugs,filters, etc. but i can tell a VERY big drop in power. i put most of the miles on her driving back and forth to Calf. from NC. im going to run it just to see how long it lasts. my sons truck ( same as mine) quit at 134,000. i guess its the difference in age as to how you drive it.

93 dakota 3.9L auto with 275,000 and still running great. All miles on original motor. A few minor parts have been replaced. The 3.9L is a damn good motor, please find me a more reliable one would ya!!

I will second the reliability of the 3.9/5.2 Ive got an 88 w/ the 5.2 and 210,00 miles. And also a 92 3.9L w/ 180,000. Both have had minor repairs. Timing chain on the 92 was replaced.

1987 v6 dak 739,000 miles, the dak is on it's 2nd engine and autotranny. I stll get 16mpg in town and 21 on the road.

1992 Ext cab, auto, 2WD, 318. 160k miles
Only major problems were intake manifold gasket in 2000, and the radiator actually EXPLODED in 2003. First vehicle ever owned, had it for 5 1/2 years, driven it 70k miles, love it.

i got a 318 152000m and will still out run fords and chevys all day long. i have never seen a dodge shoot smoke out the tale pipe unless its a caravan or diesel.
and some mods to slow it down!

'95 318 CC 4x4 w/ 165K on odometer: 2nd (used)transfer-case and third radiator. Motor and tranny never touched (yet). Still looks pretty good and a wash........from 50 feet or so

I put 217K on a '92 5.2 RC before it was killed by a woman in a T-Bird. My '01 4.7 RC manual 3:92 has 129K so far. My greatest fear is that some other idiot will pull out in front of this Dak and spoil the fun again...I don't really want an overweight GenIV to drive.

bigbluedak, you reminded me why I'm on my third radiator: mine exploded at the dealer: I left it running because I was having problems starting it. My fault: I should have cleaned the dirt-buildup off of from all those long drives through dusty West Texas. It had been getting hot on me previously. All in all, it's been a good truck--better than the naysayers predicted, esp. one little rodent-genitalia at the speedway south of Dallas about eight years ago. He offered to show me how much better his S-10 blazer was than my DAK. I didn't want any official-scrutiny from dragging his drunken butt around the parking lot.
