104K on my '99 R/T. All hard miles. On second tranny. 1st tranny replaced at 3800 miles due to driveline vibration. Burn about 1 qt of oil between oil changes. No other major maintenance. Getting ready to replace heads/cam/rockers. Still get 14-15mpg average.

98 with 318 auto trans. 83400 miles. complete brake system replaced twice. once at 30000 miles and the oter at 60000 miles. other than that still SUCKING GAS AND HAULING ASS.

98 Club Cab 5.2, 5-speed with 109,000 on 2nd NV3500. Now with Air-Ride suspension and still humming along!
'92 Reg. Cab 5.2, A-518 with 103,000 with no problems other than a wore out bearing on the distributer shaft. Will still whoop a$$ on my '98! It's now my "offical" toy.
****Stroker 318 will be in the works this summer!!!

My '86 Ram has 271,000 miles on it right now , I swapped in a rebuilt and warmed up 360 when it had 265,000 on it about a year ago , there was nothing wrong with the 318 that was in it but I was tired of going slow. I gave the 318 to one of my friends and he's rebuilding it to go in his '67 Dart Bracket racer. My girlfriends '99 318 dakota gets lots of miles though , we bought it in Sept '01 with 35,000 miles on it and it clicked over 47,000 miles on it last night coming home from dinner.

1998 5.2 manual 4x4 85,000 2 sets of brakes and clutch at 80,000 doesnt burn any oil and is far beyond driven every time the thing starts up.....

its not a truck but i have a Dodge B150 Van with 294,000 miles on the 5.2... all original too. And only airborne once!

I have a retired '87 in my yard with 700,000 kms on it, (original engine / trans / rearend when it was parked ) 3.9L 5 speed, only engine work (besides regular maint.) was a new carb, about 4 years ago. Still has the orig. valve cover gaskets.
By the way the engine is in my garage (spare for my '88 Dak) I'll sell it if interested!!!
I guess the $9500.00 pice tag (new) was worth it........... about 5 times over.

97 5.2 with 111K. Replaced fuel pump at 65K & still gettin a whompin 14 MPG. Takes a lickin & keeps on tickin. Best truck I ever owned. Still running(almost)like new.

It just rolled over to 243000 miles a few days ago. Only physical problem is a leaking exaust manifold.

109,700 ish miles on my 97 2wd 318 replaced clutch/p.plate/t.o bearing with centerforce, now my oil guage keeps zeroing on me.... i think i need a new oil pump.. ouch.

97' Dakota RegCab 162k miles
Considering I've always been a Chevy fan,this has been the most reliable truck I've owned sofar. Only problems I've had was, Catalytic and ball joint replacement.
