 Subject: Tranny problems

I lost 2nd gear and park. It wont even push into park it stops at reverse and the lever wont push in to park. and it shifts from 1st to 3rd. PLEASE HELP people!

Its a 1992. 5.2 i'm not sure what tranny..it is 4x4

most likely your tranny is on its way out. not sure why but if you are 100% sure you have NO second gear, then its f'ed up. it may run like that for a long time, or sh!t the bed tomorrow. your tv cable could be out of wack, and you might think you dont have 2nd gear. about it not going into park, i dunno.

Go to a junkyard and score a used one that may or may not work, or get a rebuilt one.

i'm going to rebuild it myself, and put a big ass shift kit and some heavy duty clutches
