2004 dakota 4.7 quad cab here. anyone know if there was ever a problem with the right front axle seal seepage??.I had mine replaced 3 times within 2 /3 months.they told me that it was defective seals..am I nuts or just very unlucky? got it fixed seems ok4 now. anybody????

Not likely you would get more then one defective seal but it is possible I guess. I'd be more inclined to think one of 2 things. Bad bearing allowing wiggle in the shaft that reams the seal out or defective shaft, out of round, groved or what ever

I had same problem. It was a bad CV Shaft. Mine was an 02 QC.
