 Subject: Wiper problem

A friend of mine has a 92 Dakota with a wiper problem. He says the wiper motor is running, but the wipers don't move. Any suggestions on what to look for first?
We're planning to work on it tomorrow, so any help will be appreciated.

could be a keeper came off or broke from a mechanical connector. Had that happen on my jeep. the wiper motor would run but the arm attached to the motor was off due to a missing keeper so the wipers didn't move. Put a new keeper on and was good to go.
