I just got back from a couple inspection stations and the all said that since I'm OBD-II, they just plug the scanner into the port instead of the sniffer. That means that next week I think I'll dump the exaust either just after the axle or just after the muffler before the axle. I'll do this after I install the cutout next wednesday after getting back from vacation.

I think I might go to Home Depot and rent a sawzall instead of using a hacksaw because I know I will be making at least 3 cuts because I'm putting the cutout in at the same time.
