Subject: too much play in steering shaft? IP: Logged
Message: 99 4x4 auto 3in body lift: How much play am i suppost to have in the steering shaft that connects to the power steering, if any? I know there is a spacer that is required for the body lift, does this create more play? I have been hearing clicking or slight popping while stopping and turning. I did a ball joint check and they seem fine, then i noticed the play in the steering shaft.
