Stant #65358 i use this one on my 4.7 and works very well. 180 degree. the stock o ring on the 4.7 is very reuseable. just make sure to install it the same way with the notch on the seal going into the notch on the housing and dont install backwards,.. the side with more seal length goes into housing, just look at the seal carefully when you pull T stat from housing. and you do not need to remove the lwr hose attached to housing. I can change the T stat in the 4.7 in 20 minutes, and i dont need too go under vehicle.

i can take change it in 30 min but with a little swelling in my arm from craming it down there tight fit need to be skinny to get the 20 min mark he is right real easy be sure the bulb side goes in the block lol learned that the hard way

Did your stock stat have a small "check-valve/ball bearing" bypass on it. What about the 180?

That little check valve on the T stat is for air to pass so it does not get trapped. I drilled a small hole 1/8 " in the same spot so air will pass. yes i have long arms, and if you are carefull you wont scratch yourself to bad, doing this from above, and above works better.
