I have a 2005 Dak with the 4.7. I am going to put a topper on this spring. Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on which toppers fit better? Right now I plan on going fibreglass and cab high style.

I purchased the Leer 100xl last April for mine.Color match of mineral gray is excellant.Looks good with the frameless design.The picture on their site shows round hinge plugs on the side windows but they aren't used anymore.Side windows are smooth.They match up with my club cab windows perfect.Only design problem I can see is the rear hatch doesn't open high enough.It sticks straight out when open and I almost took an eye out on the corner of it.

I have an astro cab-high, it has sliding windows and the front glass is hinged and folds down flat. This allows you to clean your back window or run long boards up through the cab, or talk to your dog when they are in the back end, etc. I like my topper a lot. I also opted for a bedslide. It is a sliding platform that rolls out so you can reach everything in your bed and it holds 1200lbs. It is nice because I have a short bed with my quad cab and it makes it up to 8ft long. I think the website is bedslide.com not sure though
