I really think dodge will put the hemi in the kota' for '04. The hemi is the replacement for the 5.9. It just makes sense for them to offer it in the dakota. You can get the 5.9 in the dakota in packages other then the r/t right?

my local dealer told me you will be able to get the Hemi in the 04 RT, and you can get the 5.9 in other daktas, i test drove a 01 QC 4x4 with the 5.9

You won't be buying a 5.9 Magnum in a Chrysler or Dodge anything in '04. They stopped building that for production within the last 60 days. It's done. Finito. Kaput.

Unless Dodge steps up and decides the hemi goes in the '04 Dak, the 4.7HO is the best you can hope for.

I do not think that it really clears things up, but the rendering of the new dakota is prety sweet!

May just have to get one of these with or with out the hemi.
