Message: I am a mechanic, never heard a such a thing. Even in the tech
school I went to never said off the wall things. From your other
posting sounds like a u-joint. Can you tell us more about it. Hard
braking? no braking? high speed, low speed?

Message: They sell deceleration fluid, but the label on the bottle usually says BRAKE fluid. U joint sounds like a likely suspect.

Message: the brakes work fine and the noise is louder at higher speeds and it may happens about 3 out of 5 times

Message: I had a noise like that. Sounded like a metallic clicking I heard when I let off the gas. Thought it was a brake shoe dragging so took it to the dealer. Turned out to be a broken gear in the rear end. Had something similar happen in a jeep I had. When the broken gear jammed it froze the axle, thus the wheels. Backing up freed it temporarily. But it had a clicking noise.
