Subject: Front Brake Pads IP: Logged
Message: On the front brake pads, the outer pad has a spring on it. Does this spring go on the inside part of the caliper frame (toward the wheel hub) or the outside (toward the wheel housing)?
The reason I ask I b/c I put new pad and rotors on yesterday and everything seems to work fine except when I turn slowly to the left or right - they make a rubbing sound. It's like the pad is not seated properly or something or it's not parallel to the rotor. Any ideas? What is that spring for anyway?
