Something that I'd noticed since buying my truck is the lack of pictures of a blown plenum gasket.

That digital camera is a four year old Two Megapixel Kodak DC3400. And that was with the resolution set at medium.
It's amazing what one can do by hitting the macro focus button on a digital camera though. lol
I've seen so many close up pictures on the internet that are blurry. If those pictures were taken with a digital camera then I know that camera has a macro button. Not a lot of people know what that feature is I guess.
I am just amazed at how much better my truck runs now. I haven't been to the track or anything in this truck; but just guessing, I probably gained two or three miles per hour in the quarter mile.
When I first got the truck; I got on the freeway one day accelerating from 45mph up to 70mph in fifth gear. It was then that I noticed the pinging. I believe if I'd not downshifted to third, I'd have destroyed the motor then and there.
Today however, I used that same on ramp and accelerated from 45mph to 70mph in fifth gear just like back then. It was like a totally different truck; the truck didn't hesitate at all and I didn't hear a single ping.
I filled up the truck with gas Tuesday when the install was done. Since the winter hit I'd been getting around 15.8 miles per gallon since the beginning of December.
According the overhead computer so far with this tank, I'm getting 16.7mpg. It has Always been within plus or minus .2 miles per gallon accurate too.
I'd guess all of my driving to be something like 30 percent highway and 70 percent city.
