when I turn the headlights and fogs(stock) off, most of the time the headlamps stay on for about 30 seconds then shut off, like they are on a timer, other times they shut off right away, switch problem or what it is supposed to do, any feed back?

If you cut your lights off after you've turned the engine off then the lights stay on for a while. If you cut your lights off before you turn off the engine they go off immediately.

Simple solution to this one.
When you turn the engine off before the headlights, the headlights will stay on, as Creig stated above.
Merely turn the headlights back on, then off.
They'll go out. Try it.

Bingo...its all in the central timing module behind the drivers kick panel.
I like this feature if I'm parked somewhere dark and don't feel like tripping over something :)
Also, if you forget to turn off your headlight switch, the CTM will shut them off for you after a period of time (don't remember how long) so you won't have to worry about a dead battery.
