 Subject: part # for arp head bolts

i was wondering if anyone has the part number for the arp head bolts? hughes sells them for 95 but i found some on jegs page for 54, not for sure if the ones from jegs are the same or not, the guy from jegs wasn't for sure if they would work on the magnum or not. i asked the guy from jegs about the fel-pro gaskets and he said that the oil and coolant holes are different. what does everyone do to the gaskets to make them match up? thanks ahead for any info.

there is no arp head bolt kit for *MAGNUM* engines. It is the bolts arp says to use, sold bolt by bolt. Basically hughes put together all the right bolt lengths and sizes, added some washers, and sells it to you as a kit. Worked very well on my truck. Arp plans on making a kit soon, it just isn't out yet. The one from jegs is for a LA motor. dont buy it. Although the fel-pro 1008 work on both magnum and LA, same with mr. gasket solicor head gaskets. Im running the fel-pro.

ARP#: 144-4003. All you have to do is chase the threads and cut about three extra at the bottom of the hole.

bernd, is that part number from jeg's? i tried to find it though jeg's and didn't find it. what do you have to do to the fel-pros to get them to match up?

I picked them up initially from Summit Racing for my V6. They fit the 3.9/5.2/5.9L.
No...you don't have to run the Felpro 1008's to match...you can run the standard FelPro "Perma-Torque" gaskets. (Or contact Marty at KRC Performance for the custom gaskets he uses.)
