I have been posting on this board since back in 2001. I admit i only paid for one subscription but I dont even think it was worth it to pay then.
He has now revoked my membership in hopes of getting me to re-sign up.
Well I am leaving this board and are off to a much better place. www.dakota-durango.com. I suggest every one do the same.
There are a lot more people on that site and its way better.
you know thats sic...........

He's leaving this board and is off to a much better place, yet he has stayed here for four (+) years? Guess he is afraid someone will troll his name now. You get what you pay for.

It's way better, but yet you stayed here for this long? Damn! Maybe he was the sole owner of the limited production Dodge Dakota Poor Sport...LOL!

I have made post on www.dakota-durango.com and they usually take like a week before anyone will respond. On this site it usually only takes like an hour before someone has a response.

a week? yeah right. it takes less than 1 hour for someone to answer a Q over there. I must say for me to pay for a membership here. the site would have to look alot better than what it does now. paying $30 or $55 to me is a waste of money. there has been times I posted a question on here and no one answered it. I posted over at the other site and less than 15 min had a response. also over there we never have any trolls over there. I would suggest the owner of this site to upgrade his message board.
also try www.dakotausa.com. another popular site.

If you do some Google searches for anything Dakota related, much of the time the links point to this site. Lots of history here. And it's still popular. Even the ones COMPLAINING keep posting!

I didnt pay the membership fee so that I could have a cool little sig and profile, even though that is a plus..I paid it to support the guy who runs this site and does well doing it. This site is also realllly fast. I like the way it is set up. It is simple which makes it easier to navigate through out the post. If you dont like it then dont post here. I also search other boards also besides this one. And this one seems the most informational. The other ones just seem like the members are showing off their trucks, which is great also. It just all depends on what your looking for.
GraphiteDak: I remember you posting a long time ago how many post where made in one day. It also said how many were made in a month I believe. How did you get that information.

I agree with Mopar318 about supporting Mark. I had used the site for quite some time and I felt it was warranted to support Mark with a little $$$ to support his hobby. But I also did it so I could get my name locked up and a cool signature to boot.
I'll cast my vote in favor of the simplicity of this board's organization. Sometimes I get tired of wading through tons of forums and sub-forums at other places just to find something worth reading/posting.
Good work, Mark. Don't let these (departing) bozos discourage you.

I'm not a registered user but I have enjoyed this site very much. It has been helpful and entertaining. How may users are on this site? On the brand X site there are nearly 4600 registered users. I have not used the other site however it was easy to find the number of registered users. Here, I was not able to access that information.

I agree with Graph, Modain and Mopar. After almost 5 years of using this site and some others as well, DD.com is the best. Just coughed up my first membership a few weeks ago, no regrets.

i think if you dont like it, then leave. dont tell us just go. im not a registered user yet, but im about to be. mark has a good site going here. its simple and gets to the point. yea sometimes people dont respond, but nothing is perfect.

I personally am against the idea of paying to post on a message board. I do now or have in the past frequented plenty of other message boards that were free, the sites were paid for through income from advertisers and through the sale of merchandise like hats and T-shirts.
I do like this site and will continue to post here so long as it is free.
