I just recently had the heater core and evaorator replaced in my 2000 Dakota Quad cab 4.7. Ever since I'm starting to have some funny problems but it's only doing interm. so when ever I take it in it's not doing it. The air flow will come out of the dash and then switch to the defrost and then change back to the vents. My fan sounds like it it rubbing on something behind the glove box and I can feel the pulsing from the fan on the gas pedal. Any suggetions.

How recent was the work done? Any warranty left? Sounds like something is binding inside the A/C box that houses the fan and heater core. Look under the dash just above your gas pedal for diaphram and two vaccum lines. Make sure they're tight. This controls floor and dash vent switching. Are they reversed by accident? Also, does the temp control work o.k?
