i have a 04 4.7l and today i started my truck and it idle at 600rpm its been awile since i have drove my truck and i think something is wrong with that so a gave it some gas to about 2500rpm then it idled down real low and tried for one gulp of air and just died. so im gonna take it to the dealer next sat just curious if any body has got any ideas? also i drove the truck around about 2miles and came back and it wouldnt die but the idle would drop real low but the truck would get a gulp of air and keep running.

its a dodge, they stall when ther damp and wet, did you just have rain ? and is it cold?

it was about 50deg. outside i hadnt drove the truck in three weeks but is that a normal idle seems low? ive been busy im gonna look at it better before i take it to the dealer. it might be the idle control on the throttle body. umm might borrow my frends and see whats up. i have a fastman throttle body.
