Just got a letter in the mail from Dodge. They're saying they want my truck in for a recall. I've had the ball joints replaced by Dodge last year. Anybody know what it might be?

"Important Recall Information for your vehicle, Please call for an appointment" The letter is from a dealer, not Chrysler Canada. I wonder if they're after me to come in for a Winterization Package...

If Dodge wants you to schedule an appointment for recall work, the notice will state VIN, the recall number and a brief description of the issue that caused the recall.
Sounds like you got a come-on from a dealer wanting to sell you something. But just for kicks, contact them and see what they're trying to sell.

report them to the BBB if all they are doing is trying to sell you something. When an automaker has a legitimate recall, they do exactly as stated by Josh. I think the dealer is up to something.
