on the 2005 dakota, pulling fuse number 24 (pcmb+) with key off and putting back in turns the light off. if it comes back on of course something else may be wrong, but this worked on mine. good luck.

I have the same problem with 2002 dodge durango.Idid the gas cap and did not work.Light came back on .But did nmot have time to check hose yet.
