Message: i've got a 2000 dakota quad cab and it keeps blowing the 15amp parking lamp fuse in the dash panel and the 20amp brake lamp fuse under the hood.I did recently have a flat on the left front and had to get my spare down.Would this have anything to do with my problem?I don't see any noticable damage.

Message: NO, No, No, No, No, No, No!!!!! Never put something in there that won't blow. If you do, you will probably find your short, but in the process you will melt or destroy your system wiring. Never use anything more that what is recommended unless you want to cause more and irreversable damage to the system. If you know someone with a Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR), or check using a Volt Ohm Meter to see if you have a short.
