I have 1992 dakota with the 5.2 liter engine I was wondering if anybody have installed a electric fan on one. I would like know which brand and model. Also what is the easiest way to hook it up. Thanks you for any responses.

From my experience don't even consider a flex-alite 180 extreme. JUNK ! I have a 98.

Look for a dual fan out of a Ford Contour or a dual fan from a 98+ Concorde. Both are thin fans that will fit in the limited space that a GenII truck has. GenIIIs have a little more room, on a 92 you are looking at about 3.5" - 4" of clearance.

not even that much in front of the water pump is 3 inches at most.
