Subject: APS torque Convertors IP: Logged
Message: Anyone tried one of these units out yet?? I'm looking at tthem for next spring but was wondering if anybody has had any dealings with them. I have a 2000 4.7 auto. They claim better efficiency over stock. I think my stock unit is getting a bit tired, plus looking for a better shot out of the hole.

Message: You can drive just fine on the street with a 2400-2800 stall torque converter, it just takes a bit of getting used to at first since it sort of feels like a slipping clutch in the lower rpm's if you're not romping on it.
