how hard is it to take the clutch fan off the 4.7, I was looking at it the other day when I replaced the spark plugs with the 3923's and it doesn't seem like there is much room there.

super easy takes all of 5 mins. I live in 90 degree wheather 365 days a year haven'y passed half way mark yet....been wheelin and stop and go traffic....some put eye bolts into the hole on the cluthch plate some hold the pulley with a clamp or vice grips...i went that route with tape on the ends of the vice grips...then grab a wrench tap the large bolt and off she screws.....dont remove the shroud it slips up through the space...you'll find lotsa info here on the board its super easy...make sure you have the 180 t stat

Know where the best place to get the 180 t stat is? I have been looking online and haven't found anywhere that carries it yet.

i was going to take off my clutch fan on my durango 4.7 but im planning on a supercharger in the future....i think im gonna need the extra CFM to cool my jonx.

Bernd has the 180 t stats on his web site www.speedtweaks.net....i also recommend the 35 dollar Bernd Box (ait adjuster)...Durango guy yeah if your running a super charger you will need cooling powere but hey the fan clutch goes back on in about 2 mins so what the heck you can slap it on when you get the 4 grand to put a super charger on.....,

oh yea, good point. caribbeankota...did you leave the clutch on? just remove the fan?
