What would i get out of a throttle body? I have a 2002 4.7L Dakota auto 4x2. I want the most HP gain for under 500 bucks but isnt a B*tch to install. And something thats not going to kill the gas. I want the Chip but i dont want to have to buy Premium.

The newer 4.7L Dakotas already come with a 68mm throttle body from the factory. You could upgrade to a 70mm version but I don't think you'd notice a significant increase in horsepower. You would see a much bigger gain going with the HO Manifold or HO cams.

Alright, so if i wouldnt see much of a differance with a throttle body, i have a question or two about HO Cams. Can i just throw them in there or do they need to be adjusted? Do they harm gas milage bad just cruising? Also, do you need to get new springs? Thank You

(i like that website!)

I have only owned R/T's so I don't know the specific procedure by heart, but I have heard it takes about 3-4 hours to swap the cams and there is a tool available from Mopar that helps with the installation. Enough people have done cam swaps that there should be procedures available via search on this site or one of the other Dodge Truck sites.

HO cams work with stock springs, don't need any adjusting. Most of us seem to get about the same milage with them. There's ways to get around needing the factory tools. Toughest part is R&R of the valve covers, the gaskets are reusable. I think GraphiteDak has a link to pictures he took showing the swap in his signature; lots of other info on this site about this but I know its tougher for non-members to search now. Gets you most of the extra torque of the whole HO package.

Alright Thanks, Would it be better to get the the H.O. intake too? i have heard that some people just get the cams because of some drawback from having to intake also.

I wouldn't waste my time with the 02 HO manifold, it's suppose to give you some top end punch at the expense of bottom end torque. If it was that good, why didn't Jeep keep it for the 03-04 models? You might look into the 04 HO/std manifold and a Fastman ported TB.
Do you have a K&N or similar CAI?
Don't forget to open up the exhaust too, I'm running a Dynomax Ultraflo catback and I'm very satified with the sound (aggressive but not noisy even though it's a straight-through design) and performance, especially for the price.

Cams will work with stock manifold, I kept mine so as not to lose low end torque.
