What are you guys thinking, you actually want to TRY and attempt to make a Dakota fast? Then you want to go out and race random 4 cylinders, get smoked, or manage to beat a ricer (see urban dictionary for definition clarification) by a trucklength and brag about it? I once had a stock Ford Probe when I was in college, and managed to beat a "suped" up Dakota V-8 3 lights in a row. Get a life, or get a sports car. Now I drive a 300ZX Twin Turbo and I wouldn't bother to waste my time, or expensive gas racing some slow Dakota.

What is it about hillbilly's and small dicks? Is that all they think about? Actually, I pay for my own cars, and used to have a truck. I used it for one thing, towing, and my sports car for the racing and speed part. Ladies like both, but unless your driving a Dodge Ram with the Viper in it you'd have to be an idiot to think your truck is ment for speed.

Incorrect again do you think that a ram with a viper is the only dodge truck that is fast? were are you located I have a truck well lets say a little black dodge dak that WILL make it to the other end of the track and back to the starting line before you make it 1/8 of a mile with your "sports car". Ooh and by the way why are you racing stop light to stop light what does that prove other than you are the idiot? I would say that if there were stop lights you were probably in town with pedestrians around your really not to smart are you. Also I would like to say the person in the dakota wasn't "racing" you like you thought he was.

I have no problem beating Probes, GTs, honduhs, 300zx's(not TT though), and other various items in my 3800lb. pig.
I now run with my M1 intake a 14.77@ 92.02 mph
and the 1/8th is like 9.38@ 73.97mph
Just to think if I lost weight and weighed in at about 3200lbs....interesting.

What you have to understand is haveing a fast car isnt a really hard thing to get, but haveing a fast truck is a real accomplishment. "Sports Cars" suck. Unless you get into the big money. But if i was going to get a fast car i would go with a muscle car, not a weekeater. Ohh and trying putting that hair dryer back on your car.

haha people and talkin CRAP on dakotas, everyone on this website knows dodge especially dakotas is the best vehicles around. ITS AMERICAN!!!. and just for the record ive raced many cars from bmws to tricked out ricers to mustangs and ive lost only 1 race. that would be to my brother, oh but wait what does he have, A DAKOTA!!

this 300ZX-crement needs to know what a R/T can do there several in the R/T club that run in the 11's my R/T ran a 14.5@93mph with only a computer exaughst work and new spark plugs now I run a 13.3@103mph with only a few more mods so let him go talk some $#!+ on the R/T Forums

Yep Chris Iam with you.
My Zr-1 Vette has been beat a few times but not by a ricer or Dak. I run with Vipers, Farrari's ect.
I dont run my Dak. to often but this little 4.7 runs well.
02 QC 4x4 auto heavy duty everything all the usual Mod's.
96 Vette, Zr-1 350, 4 cams, 32 valves, 16 fuelinjectors 6 speed. Borla and other mods. factory Sez. 405 HP dyno shows 472 HP High 11's low 12's passes. top speed dont really know but over 170!
