And if my message wasn't clear, I have an 01 R/T that has it's own purpose. It will see some track time and some extended hauling duties to carry the vette back and forth to the track too. I love my R/T... by far the best purchase I've made vehicle wise.
To the troll... I have yet to loose to any from of import and have the times and pics to show!!! I've only raced one Viper on a Road Course and tore it apart... I put a lap on him in a 15 lap run, lets see what you got and I'll show you my tail lights.
The Corvette is the American ICON biatch!!! It is the baseline of performance to which all other sports cars are compared to. Some have had rattle problems, but show me a vehicle that is over 10 years old that hasn't. THERE ISN'T ONE!!! I've driven all kinds of cars including older exotics and they all rattle with age. Why don't you go get an "ejukashun" and learn your stuff before you go running your mouth... and if you are cocky enough... put your title where your mouth is. I can always use another car

ummmmmm, dakota's are midsized trucks with full sized motors. making it the perfect vehicle for a person like me that wants to go fast but still needs a bed to carry stuff and isnt rich enough to buy a chevy SS or the srt10. thats why. its the perfect truck to go fast in.

HAHA. *cracks up* I have yet to be defeated by a "rice burner" import car. My 318 is TOTALLY stock except for the Iridium plugs and my K@N airfilter. I am in the 6 second range. I'm not saying i'm beating Vipers, which I have no doubt a Dakota has the potential, i'm just saying I can beat about any Honda you can throw at me top end and take off. If that can't, I can get my 1987 Camaro 350 to do that :D That thing will KILl any import car.
