Subject: Engine smoking IP: Logged
Message: When I come to a stop, not every stop, the engine shoots out smoke from the front and side of the engine compartment. Not a lot but enough to notice and smell in the cab too. It smells like oil burning or maybe coolant or both. but i don't know where the leak is coming from, some help, please.

Message: Start searching on that side of the engine. Look at your exhaust manifolds and see if there is any staining that may be caused by a leak. Just have to look and see what you find. Check your fluids to see if one is possibly low.

Message: most likely a valve cover gasket is leaking onto one of your manifolds > the manifolds and exaust pipes are pretty much the only things hot enough to burn the oil like that
