It's a Dakota, only with Mitsubishi styling. It looks a whole lot better IMO. But, it doesn't take much to improve on the latest generation Dak, that thing is butt ugly!

I personally like the looks of the new Raider better then the '05 Dakota. I don't think the H.O. 4.7L is an option though, just the standard 4.7L. I will definitely want to drive one when they hit the market.

According to Car and Driver or Motor Trend (I subscribe to both) it will be available only as a Club Cab, but does look a little more macho than my '05 Dakota.

I stand corrected. I just checked it out on Mitsu's web site and it is available as a QC, but no stick with V-8 option, so not in my future.

what are we discussing this for? it's a damn sh#tsubishi. i don't understand how anyone drops $20,000+ on any mitsubishi.
I don't care if it does have a Dakota powertrain.
