Message: Ok, so I'm thinking about getting the performance Mopar PCM for my truck... I just want to know if it is worth the $250, or if there is another mod that will give me more "bang for the buck"? I have thought about a cam, but the idea of plug-in performance is very alluring. If anyone has any info, or personal experience with the Mopar PCM, I would REALLY appreciate it! I know I will have to run premium fuel, that is not a concern, I just want my truck to have a little more get up and go! Thanks in advance for the info!

Message: I put one in my 92. I really liked it. Helped wake the truck up, and it had about 170k miles on it when I did it. Also put an M1 and ported TB on, got a real strong mid-top end increase.
For your 94 the MP PCM is your only choice. No other PCMs/flashes or power programmers exist. Keep an eye out on ebay and all the dodge boards, they pop up from time to time for cheap. I got mine used for less than $100 I think.
1.7 rockers would be another good choice on a 318.

Message: Thanks for the info! I think I am definately going to get the Mopar PCM, and go from there. I am unimpressed with the off-the-line performance of my truck, maybe the PCM will help....

Message: His truck is a 94. No flash for OBDI trucks. MP PCM is the only option.
