 Subject: lower idle after tps check

i checked my tps just now and my 4.7 now has a lower idle. it now idles at about 500rpm but it used to idle from 800-1000. y did it go sown?!?!? also how do i get the malfunction sensor to go off. i let the car idle for awhile but it keeps turning on when i start the truck and it stays on

did you hppen to check it with the engine running? try resetting the pcm. then start it, don't touch the throttleand no accessories on and let it idle for about 3-5 minutes. then shut it off. then restart it again. it should re-learn the idle.
