 Subject: Mysterious Acceleration

I just crashed my 01 Dakota V8 Quad Cab into the side of a building! I backed out of parking space and tagged the base of a lite pole and shifted into drive and truck took off into building! Now store has a new door, truck looks totalled and I'm sore as h@#$ll! Still don't know what happened. Any thoughts? Any recalls in this area?

should of turned off the ignition. could you of had being pissed after hitting the pole. went to put it in drive and hit the gas instead of the brake and when it went in to gear thats why it took off?
