i'm goin to be getting a 318 5-speed and i was wondering if i could put an r/t computer in it. Would that work or would the tranny (being a stick) interfere with the comp.

what year? your probably better off getting the 318 & 318 pcm from the same truck. for minimal problems get the same year engine and pcm as you're currently running.

Look for an aftermarket computer for your truck. You'll be much better off. The R/T is a 5.9L. Fuel curves, timing, it's all different. VIN's are different, and it is wired and programmed for an AUTO trans. Get yourself and your new truck on the right track with the right parts. You'll save some aggrevation. Have fun!
